Salary: $7.00 to $7.50 Hourly for 20 hours per week, Gratuities

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school
Credentials: Food and beverage server certification (not required)
Experience: 1-2 years, but will train.
Languages: Speak English and French
Computer Applications: Point-of-sale system
Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, serve food and beverages, formal or French service, present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection, present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware.
Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers' complaints or concerns, assist customers with special needs, balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, load buspans and trays, set tables, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, replace linen, set up meeting rooms.

Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, wash carpets,  make beds and change sheets, laundry, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, clean sauna room and public washrooms, dust and clean meeting rooms, side work.
